Most body and exterior problems announce themselves well before they strand anybody. On a 2013-2022 Encore, these are the ones worth acting on.
1. A window that drops into the door or moves crookedly

2. A mirror that shakes at highway speed after a folding motor fails
This one is usually early, which is good news, because it is cheap to fix early. Start by looking at mirrors.
3. A hazy or yellowed headlamp lens that no longer projects a sharp cutoff
It rarely gets better on its own, and it usually gets louder before it gets expensive. Start by looking at grilles.
4. A door handle that pulls with no resistance
By the time this is obvious you are generally replacing more than one part. Start by looking at mirrors.
