Wiper and Lighting Season for Your 2014-2019 Chevrolet Corvette

Body and Exterior

Watch for a window that drops into the door or moves crookedly. Not a scheduled item. These are damage and failure replacements.

Sensors, Cameras and Driver Assistance

Watch for a TPMS light that will not clear after a tire rotation. TPMS sensor batteries typically last seven to ten years and are commonly replaced as a set during a tire change.

Interior

Watch for carpet that stays damp under a worn factory mat. Not scheduled. Replace on wear.

Ignition and Engine Management

Watch for fuel economy that drifts down a mile or two per gallon over a few months. Iridium plugs on most modern GM engines are a 90,000 to 100,000 mile item. Coils are replaced on failure, not on a schedule.

The Short Version

Mirrors: Trim level changes almost every exterior part. Take a photo of the connector on the part you are replacing before you order.
Park assist sensors: Painted park assist sensors are ordered in primer and painted to your code. Confirm your paint code before ordering.
Floor liners: Interior color code matters as much as the model year. It is on the SPID label in the glove box or console.
Spark plugs: The same nameplate can have three different engines in one model year. VIN is the only reliable way to get the right plug.
