Why the Factory Version
Universal versions of this exist and they are cheaper. The factory version is measured to the specific vehicle, uses the existing mounting points, and matches the trim finish. On a gift, that difference is the whole point. Nobody wants an accessory that announces it was the budget option.
What You Need to Know to Order
- Year, make, model and trim at a minimum.
- The VIN if you can get it, which resolves everything else.
- For interior items, the interior color code from the SPID label.
- For bed and cargo items, the bed length or wheelbase.
