Black Friday week is the one time of year it makes sense to buy the parts you have been putting off and the accessories you were never going to buy at full attention. Here is how to shop it without ending up with the wrong part.
Buy the Deferred Maintenance First
Before the accessories, handle the things you already know about. Filters, wiper blades, brake pads and a battery test are the least exciting purchases on the site and the ones that pay off first. Oil filters, air filters and brake pads are the usual starting point.
Then the Accessories
Accessories are the gift half of the week. Floor liners, cargo management, wheel locks and sill plates all buy well. See our gift guides for the by-recipient version.
Watch the Freight Items
Anything oversize goes freight, and freight during the last week of November is the slowest it gets all year. If it is a gift, order early in the week, not on Cyber Monday.
Confirm Fitment Before You Buy, Not After
Volume weeks are when fitment mistakes happen, because people buy fast. Send the VIN with your order. We check it against the catalog before anything ships. Remember that electrical parts are not returnable at any GM dealer, so those are the ones to be careful with.
Check Clearance
Discontinued and last-one items get marked down and do not come back. Deals and clearance.
